Channel Surfing by Laura Nachman Bucks County Courier Times February 13, 2004 On Wednesday morning, WCAU reporter Ted Greenberg mistakenly reported during a live cut-in that the 3rd grade boy who was shot in North Philadelphia died.  WCAU news director Chris Blackman said, "We regret it.  We dealt with it.  We corrected it." When asked if Greenberg, who arrived at WCAU in 2003 from the NBC affiliate in Atlantic City, NJ was reprimanded for his error, Blackman said "We took appropriate action."  Blackman would not elaborate on whether Greenberg was suspended or reassigned. Blackman said the station aired a correction within an hour of the erroneous report. When a call was placed to the newsroom on Thursday, a newsroom employee said that Greenberg was not in that day.
