Holy Hairspray! The new weekend evening anchor team on KYW-3 is Ren and Robin. Robin Rieger will join Ren Scott beginning Saturday. Rieger, who worked her way up from traffic reporter when she joined the station in 1996, had been co-anchoring the morning news with Amy Caples since Pat Ciarrocchi left for 5 p.m. land. Off the air, Rieger's sidekick is Sixers play-by-play announcer Tom McGinnis. They were married in September.

DAILY DOUBLE

"Jeopardy" will be in Philadelphia tomorrow and Saturday searching for new contestants. Hopefuls will take a 50-question test and if they answer 35 of the questions correctly, then they will play a mock version of the game. Winners are eligible for one full year to appear on the show.

A SCOOBY SNACK

Question: Scooby Dooby Doo, where are you? Answer: WB17 beginning Monday at 3:30. The cartoon, which has enjoyed a renaissance thanks to The Cartoon Network, will be sandwiched between "Pokemon" at 3 and 4 p.m. "Jackie Chan Adventures" follows at 4:30 p.m. A big-screen version of "Scooby" with Freddie Prinze Jr. and Sarah Michelle Gellar is set to hit theaters this year.

THEY LOVE A PARADE

WB17 strutted its stuff on New Year's Day as the ratings for the Mummers Parade led all stations with an average 9.6 rating/16 share from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The parade rating peaked during the string band performances at 4:45 p.m. with a 14.3 rating/24 share. Each rating point equals 28,010 households.

On New Year's Eve, it was Channel 6 all the way as "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve" had a 26.5 rating/51 share at midnight. Despite televising the Penn's Landing fireworks, NBC-10 was runner-up with a 14 rating/27 share at midnight. KYW-3 and Fox-Philadelphia were dateless with barely any viewers.
