Surfing by Laura Nachman November 11, 2003 Bucks County Courier Times Steve Levy is no longer one of the hosts of “10” on WCAU. According to a station spokesperson, Levy will continue doing the weekday early morning news and will be available for news if a major story breaks during the 10 a.m. timeslot. Original co-host Bill Henley will continue with fellow weather anchor Amy Freeze. Since the 10 a.m. news changed to a magazine show over a year ago, the show has changed producers, sets (from the WCAU studio to the Loews hotel in Center City), and female co-hosts (Sharon Reed to Tiffany McElroy). Funnylady Sheela Allen Stephens will continue as a contributor. Currently, “10” is second in its timeslot to “The Wayne Brady Show” on WPVI. Popular reporter Karen Hepp is leaving WCAU to become the weekend morning anchor on WNBC in New York City. Hepp, who is from Malvern and a graduate of Agnes Irwin, earned her Bachelor’s degree from NYU. Her last day on the air is scheduled for December 5th. Hepp signed with WNBC on her 33rd birthday over a week ago. Since she’s moving to another NBC affiliate, she’ll be able to keep her same email address. Also, Gregory Harrison, The Village People, Sheryl Lee Ralph (who is engaged to PA State Senator Vincent Hughes), and Chubby Checker will be in the parade.
